In the last 10 years I have;

Lived in six houses – Phillip Island, Geelong, Caulfield, Malvern, Elwood and Kensington, with 10 different people.
Had eight jobs. Interviewed for ten jobs and been successful nine times, finding myself in the fortunate position of receiving two job offers on the same day and the unfortunate position of having to decline one. I’ve worked in a hospital – as a cleaner, an orderly and an allied health assistant, in a call centre – as a customer service consultant and a level 2 technician, at the race track – as a motorsports photographer, in an office – as a learning and design consultant and most recently a learning and design specialist, and in a pub – as a trivia host.
Lied once – now, about how often I’ve lied.
Attended two universities over two and a half years. Australian Institute of Criminology and Monash Clayton. Currently free of HECS debt, and one and a half years short of an Arts degree.
Been drunk 214 times, that I can remember.
Been on 10 holidays but didn’t leave Australia once. Most frequent destination was Sydney – four visits, followed by Queensland – three, Murray River twice and the Northern Territory once.
Driven a go kart and had sex in three states – not at the same time, that’d be dangerous.
Speaking of dangerous, been downhill mountain biking once, with no prior experience, and lived to write this tale.
Owned three cars – the first was a 1985 Mazda 6 Coupe, which was followed by a 1968 Morris Mini and I currently drive a 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX.
Owned a go kart, a motorbike, one hardtail mountain bike, one dual suspension mountain bike, two road bikes, and two trailers.
Had four speeding fines, all earned while imitating the Stig, and three parking fines.
Had two long term relationships, lasting almost six years combined. Heidi August 2000 – December 2003 and Ilana June 2006 – September 2008.
Been to a gym on four occasions, and almost signed up each time.
Had five romantic weekends away. Mt. Dandenong twice, Otways twice, Daylesford once. Unfortunately there was always someone else with me.
Had two pets, one cat and one dog, sadly neither are with me any more.
Attended one wedding, one birth and no funerals.
Competed in three sports, indoor soccer, indoor cricket and basketball. Indoor soccer and cricket were both new to me but basketball is something I have played since age seven.
Played in seven Grand Finals – two indoor cricket and five indoor soccer, and yet only won two, both indoor soccer, with different teams.
Had sex 1,297 times.
And masturbated every other day.

What frightens me most when I look back on the last 10 years of my life is just how much has happened. I’ll be interested to know how life looks 10 years from now. Might try and remember this post and revisit it when I’m 38 turning 39.
